Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how VisionAST ("VisionAST," "we," "us," or "our") handles information collected through this website, visionast.com (the "Site"), and through the VisionAST SMS messaging program. It applies to the Site and SMS program only. The Novella platform at novella.visionast.com is provided to dealers and agents under separate customer agreements and is not covered by this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a demo through our "sneak peek" form, we collect the name, email address, phone number, and business or dealership name you provide. We use this information solely to respond to your request and to contact you about VisionAST products.

SMS messaging information. When you opt in to receive text messages from VisionAST, we collect the mobile number you provide; the date, time, source, and method of your consent; and records of your messaging preferences. We also receive delivery status and limited interaction data, such as whether a message was delivered and response keywords including STOP and HELP.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type, and the date and time of each request — to keep the Site secure and reliable.

Website analytics. We use PostHog to understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, interactions such as clicks and form activity, approximate performance metrics, and errors. PostHog sets first-party cookies so we can understand return visits, and may record limited session replays of how the Site is used (keystrokes in form fields are masked). We configure PostHog to discard visitor IP addresses at ingestion and to honor your browser's Do Not Track setting.

We also load ZoomInfo WebSights. ZoomInfo may set a first-party visitor identifier cookie named _zitok and receive information such as your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you visit, and your interactions with the Site. We use its reports to understand Site traffic and which organizations may be interested in VisionAST.

Embedded video. Some pages embed videos from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube does not set cookies until you play a video; if you do, YouTube may receive information in accordance with Google's privacy policy.

How we use information

• To respond to demo requests and communicate with you about VisionAST products and services.
• To send the SMS notifications, updates, and reminders you requested.
• To administer SMS preferences, monitor delivery, honor opt-out requests, and maintain consent records.
• To understand Site traffic and improve our sales and marketing outreach.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Site and respond to you, including:

• HubSpot — stores demo-request contact information in our customer relationship management system so our team can respond and follow up.
• Resend — delivers the email notifications generated by our demo-request form.
• Vercel — hosts the Site and maintains the server logs described above.
• PostHog — provides website usage analytics and session replay so we can understand and improve how the Site is used.
• ZoomInfo — provides website traffic analytics and may associate visits with company profiles.
• Google (YouTube) — serves embedded video when you choose to play it.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

SMS data. We do not sell or rent your mobile information. We do not share your mobile number, SMS opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share SMS information only with messaging service providers and wireless carriers as necessary to operate and deliver the SMS program, or as required by law.

Data retention

We keep demo-request information for as long as needed to follow up with you and to maintain our ordinary business records, then delete it when it is no longer needed.

We retain SMS consent, preference, opt-out, and delivery records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the program, honor your choices, maintain our ordinary business records, and comply with legal obligations. We delete or anonymize these records when they are no longer needed.

Your choices

PostHog analytics honors your browser's Do Not Track setting — enable it and PostHog will not capture your visit. Using the Site with analytics does not affect its core functionality, and you can contact us below about the information associated with your visit.

You can ask us to access or delete the information you submitted, or to stop contacting you, at any time — just reply to any message from us or email support@visionast.com.

If you receive VisionAST text messages, reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. You may also contact support@visionast.com or call (518) 693-4182. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is intended for dealership and business professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
