VisionAST recently released to customers, their Q1 2025 quarterly benchmark report, which encompasses performance of their entire powersports dealership client base for both variable operations and parts and service. Dealers can use the report to compare their own operation using the live data available to them on the VisionAST platform.
Some key Q1 trends for variable operations worth noting:
Variable Operations
- F&I PVR increased for the 5th straight quarter
- Sales gross decreased $16.81/deal over Q4 2024
- F&I gross increased $64.75/deal over Q4 2024
- Product index/Product Per Deal has continued to increase for the past 6 quarters (.57 to .74)
- Average bank reserve increased to $354.89 for the highest recorded in VisionAST history
- Finance penetration is the highest recorded in VisionAST history at 53%
- Previous high was 51% in Q3 2024
- Explains increase in Total bank reserve
Fixed Operations
- Per Billable Flat Rate Hour increased $2.26 over prior quarter.
- Effective labor rate has significantly increased since last quarter (+5.26) at $125.08.
- Hours/RO is down significantly since last year:
- Q1 2024 Q1 avg = 3.35 hours/RO
- Q1 2025 Q1 avg = 2.63 hours/RO
