VisionAST recently released to customers, their Q1 2025 quarterly benchmark report, which encompasses performance of their entire automotive dealership client base. Dealers can use the report to compare their own operation using the live data available to them on the VisionAST platform.
Some key Q1 trends for variable operations worth noting:

- Total gross profit decreased for 7 straight quarters and is down more than $1,500/deal from 2 years ago.
- Sales gross continues to decline.
- PPVR% (F&I profit for product only, without including bank reserve) is the highest VisionAST has ever recorded at 67%.
- “Product only”/aftersale deals continue to show increased average F&I gross.
- Appearance increased $141.09/deal
- Maintenance increased $154.97/deal
- Tire & Wheel increased $164.50/deal
- Vehicle Service Contract increased $301.85/deal
